Please interpret findings with caution. These maps and tables display information for Vancouver Island only. The data used to create the maps, graphs, and tables is only as accurate as the input. Not all landscape units or entire area within each landscape unit has been assessed for MAMU habitat by aerial surveys thus calculations of the amount of habitat may be incomplete where coverage is missing. Any areas with Tree Farm Licenses (TFLs) also will not show THLB classes, thus any summaries of habitat in the different contributing classes will only be relevant in the Timber Supply Area (TSA) landbase. The accuracy of the Coast Suitability Model also varies and may be missing forest cover information for TFLs.
